So hard has it become to challenge even recently appointed “incumbent judges,” and so abused has this process become, that in the 5th and last Governor’s Debate between Rossi and Gregoire, the astonishing Question was asked of the candidates, if whether in the Appointment of Judges they would employ any Litmus Test. For just a minute, I thought I was reading an article about a Presidential Debate, not a Governor’s Debate in a state where the People are actually supposed to ELECT their Supreme Court Justices!
